Our Own Installers – Touchwood Flooring warranties all materials and labour in writing. We pay all liability insurance and WCB . We schedule the projects and service work. We visit jobsites and meet with our crews regularly to ensure our standards are being upheld.
A Beautiful & Upscale Showroom – Our showroom is a large 1500 sq. ft. facility that features Hakwood Prefinished Oil long and wide planks, Vintage Hardwood Flooring, Preverco Hardwood, Mirage Hardwood Floors as well as our economically priced Traditions line. Consumers can expect to see and experience different species, grades, stains and fumed colours, urethane & oil finishes (gloss levels), widths, thicknesses, solid and engineered products.
Additional Literature – Often overwhelming for the consumer, the selection available is extensive. It is hard to digest all the choices and characteristics of the wood. Touchwood has produced additional literature for their clients to take with them, to read in the comfort of their own homes.
Detailed Estimating – Our estimates give a breakdown of materials and labour needed to complete this project. We itemize what each item costs, the amount of square footage needed and the jobsite preparation required. We also outline our warranty program.
Custom Milled Accessories – Touchwood Flooring can provide custom curves, in-lay borders, medallions, nosings, solid treads, heavy round and square bullnoses, stair caps and floor vents to complement any hardwood decor.
Job Site Preparation Checklist – To avoid any surprises when our crew arrives, Touchwood has developed a checklist outlining what has to be done to prepare for the construction about to take place in your home. If the client has any questions regarding the jobsite preparation, they can all be answered prior to starting the job.
Customer Survey – As Touchwood Flooring grows we want to ensure that our standards of service are not forgotten. We offer a complimentary cleaning kit and hygrometer to all customers who complete a brief survey on their experience with us. These surveys do more than let us know where we can improve; they also give our staff well-deserved recognition when a job is well done. 100% of customers surveyed would refer Touchwood Flooring to others!

Custom Hardwood Flooring Accessories
Touchwood contracts a local mill shop to produce a wide variety of custom wooden accessories, like wood floor vents and nosings, to complement your hardwood flooring. These accessories can take an average install and turn it into something amazing.
Solid hardwood is a solid piece of Tongue and Groove Hardwood Flooring. Solid hardwood is sold in unfinished or factory-finished options.
Engineered hardwood flooring is constructed of layers of Baltic Birch plywood, hardwood fillets or softwood fillets with a solid top wear layer of hardwood. Not all Engineered Hardwood will perform in Alberta’s dry climate. Let us help you find the right product for the humidity you are able to achieve in your home.
Unfinished Flooring
Touchwood supplies unfinished hardwood and then site finishes the flooring to give a more custom, smooth appearance. We can add onto existing floors, keeping with the style of the era of the home or custom stain new wide plank unfinished hardwood to offer more possibilities of colour and design.
Wide plank hardwood has become the most requested hardwood flooring style. Touchwood recommends that if purchasing widths of hardwood wider than 3 1/4″ that engineered hardwood flooring is used.
Warranties and Guarantees
Touchwood follows all manufacturer’s installation criteria so that Manufacturer’s warranties can be honored by the Mill our clients have selected. Touchwood Flooring Ltd. warranties its’ hardwood installation to the original purchaser for a period of 5 years from the completion date. Stair Installations are warranted for 1 year from the completion date as well as Sand & Finishing. Product warranties are the responsibility of the manufacturer.
